I would guess that a lot of you may wonder why I’m doing what I do at my expense and for a not for profit nature. I look
at it as more of a hobby than anything else. Those Sicangu Lakota Artisans that I can help through the virtual trading post will reward me at their discretion, not based on any fee or percentage of their
profits. My capital outlay to get this project started comes to about $1,400.00 for my new Gateway computer and HP DeskJet printer. So far about $500.00 for software and a about
$300.00 for a domain and dedicated telephone line. Monthly expenses will run about $100.00 per month for the telephone and internet access. It would be difficult to put a value on my time since it
is more of a hobby. In summary, a total capital outlay of $2,200.00 and approximately $1,200.00 a year. Its a lot cheaper than going out drinking twice a month, smoking a pack of
cigarettes a day, or a lot of other hobbies or vices one can get trapped by. If you like what I’m trying to accomplish for myself and my friends feel free to tell your friends to drop by
our site.
